How can countries grow sustainably? [1]

One of the goals of the IMF is to promote high employment and sustainable growth. In this interview Gita Gopinath, the IMF’s Director of Research, argues that both domestic and multilateral efforts are needed to ensure that people can benefit from the new kinds of economic growth opportunities that exist. She also highlights challenges such as climate change and international trade which countries will have to collectively tackle.
