
Camelia Minoiu is a Principal Economist in the Monetary Affairs Division at the Federal Reserve Board. Previously she worked in the Research Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). During 2016-2018 she visited the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Her research interests are in the areas of financial intermediation, banking regulation, banks in emerging markets, and financial globalization. She also conducts research on the impact of monetary and macroprudential policies on credit supply and the real economy.
