Senior Researcher, FEEM and CMCC
Cristina Cattaneo is a Senior Researcher at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) and at Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici (CMCC). She is also External Research Fellow at the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAm). She holds a DPhil in Economics from the University of Sussex- Brighton (UK), a PhD in Economics from the Università degli Studi in Milan (Italy), and a MA in Development Economics from the University of Sussex.
Cristina’s research examines the economic consequences of human migration on origin and destination countries, as well as the drivers of migration. Her research has been published in the Journal of International Economics, Journal of Development Economics, the International Migration Review, the Journal of Human Resources, the Resource and Energy Economics, the World Economy, the Economics of Transition and the IZA Journal of European Labor Studies.
