Denise Ferris is a social epidemiologist leading mixed-methods evaluations of humanitarian and international development projects. Her research focuses on women’s social and economic empowerment of women and refugees living in poverty, with specific interests in gender-based violence, intra-household bargaining, and sexual reproductive health. She has also been working on global health-related projects in sub-Saharan Africa.
