Giorgio Chiovelli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the Universidad de Montevideo. Previously he was a Research Fellow in Economics at London Business School. He holds an MSc in Economics from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bologna. He is an applied economist with a strong interest in development economics, political economy, and economic growth.
