Karthik Sastry is a Prize Fellow in Economics, History, and Politics at Harvard University and a postdoctoral fellow at J-PAL at MIT. Karthik studies macroeconomics, focusing on the economic determinants of global trends in technology and productivity and the role of information and social interactions in shaping macroeconomic dynamics. He received his PhD from MIT in 2022 and AB from Princeton University in 2016.
