Lauren Falcao Bergquist is a Research Fellow at the Becker Friedman Institute at the University of Chicago for the 2017-2018 academic year. She will join the economics department at the University of Michigan as an Assistant Professor in 2018. Her primary areas of research are development economics and applied microeconomics. She received her PhD in economics from UC Berkeley in 2017.
