Luis Martinez is Assistant Professor at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the LSE. He works at the intersection of political economy and development economics, with a regional focus on Latin America. His research mainly focuses on the functioning of weak and non-democracies.
