Martina Björkman Nyqvist is an Professor in Economics and the Exectutive Director of Misum (Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets at SSE) at the Stockholm School of Economics. Before moving to SSE, she was an Assistant Professor at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. Her research interests include development economics, health economics, public service delivery, and economics of education. She is currently conducting research projects in Uganda and India.
She is affiliated with J-Poverty Action Lab (J-Pal), a CEPR Research Fellow, and a BREAD Affiliate.
