
Michael J. Tierney is the George and Mary Hylton Professor of Government and International Relations. He serves as Co-Director of William & Mary's Global Research Institute. Tierney studies international organizations, international development, and Chinese development finance. He has recently finished a book entitled "Bridging the Theory-Practice Divide in International Relations" that will be published by Georgetown University Press in early 2020.
