Swati Sharma is a final year doctoral student at the Indian Statistical Institute (Delhi) under the supervision of Dr. Farzana Afridi. Her Ph.D. thesis is on social networks and labor market outcomes. Her interest lies in conducting primary research to understand economic outcomes of the historically marginalized groups. Currently, she is working on a project based on the implications of promotion practices of organizations on career advancement of women at historically underrepresented roles. She graduated in economics from Sri Ram College of Commerce, followed by Delhi School of Economics, Delhi university.
