Tanguy Bernard is professor at the University of Bordeaux and affiliated with IFPRI and J-PAL. His research focuses on issues of poverty and rural development, with particular interest in small farmers’ production and commercialization constraints, as well as their economic aspirations and related future-oriented behavior. Most of his fieldwork is concentrated in Sub-Saharan Africa.
