Vestal McIntyre is the Staff Writer and Communications Specialist at Evidence for Policy Design, where he coordinates, edits, and helps produce non-academic writing about EPoD's work, and oversees our social media and online presence. In the past he has written and edited for groups at MIT, Princeton, and Paris School of Economics, and taught creative writing at University of Northampton in the UK. As a fiction writer, he is the author of the story collection You Are Not the One and the novel Lake Overturn, which was named Editors’ Choice by the New York Times Book Review, a Washington Post Best Book of 2009, and won the Grub Street National Book Prize and a Lambda Literary Award. He has been awarded fellowships by the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Foundation for the Arts. Vestal holds a BA in English from Tufts University.
