Vestal McIntyre is the Senior Staff Writer and Communications Specialist at the Yale Economic Growth Center and Inclusion Economics. In the past he has written and edited for Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD) at Harvard Kennedy School and other research centers at MIT, Princeton, and Paris School of Economics. As a fiction writer, he is the author of the story collection You Are Not the One and the novel Lake Overturn, which was named named Editors’ Choices by the New York Times Book Review and a Washington Post Best Book of 2009. He has taught creative writing at University of Northampton in the UK and has been awarded fellowships by the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Foundation for the Arts. Vestal holds a BA in English from Tufts University.
