Muhammad Yasir Khan is a PhD student at the University of California Berkeley's Haas School of Business. His research is focused on Development Economics and Political Economy. Yasir uses field experiments to study public sector personnel in developing countries. A strand of his research is focused on political entry decisions and performance of politicians. He also studies incentives of bureaucrats and the role of information in shaping their performance. He is also a Fellow at Consortium for Development Policy Research.
