Amrit Amirapu

Associate Professor, School of Economics, University of Kent

Amrit Amirapu is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in the School of Economics at the University of Kent. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University, an MA from Columbia University in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences, and a BA from Amherst College in Physics and Political Philosophy. Amrit's main fields of research are Development Economics and Applied Microeconomics. He is a member of the Development Economics Research Centre at Kent (DeReCK) and the Macroeconomics, Growth and History Centre (MaGHiC) at Kent.
