Jeetendra Khadan

Senior Economist, World Bank’s Prospects Group

Jeetendra Khadan is a Senior Economist in the World Bank’s Prospects Group, where he works on global economic surveillance, commodity markets, and analytical research on developing countries, including small states and fragile and conflict-affected situations. He is a co-author of the World Bank’s flagship Global Economic Prospects report and the Commodity Markets Outlook. Prior to joining the World Bank, he served as Senior Country Economist at the Inter-American Development Bank, leading policy dialogue and research on fiscal sustainability, growth, and structural reforms in Caribbean economies. He has published books and journal articles focused on macroeconomic and development issues and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of the West Indies.
