Peter Selcuk is an economist with the World Bank’s Prospects Group. His work focuses on global economic surveillance, monetary policy and global macroeconomic risks. He is one of the lead authors of the World Bank’s flagship Global Economic Prospects report, which presents the World Bank’s outlook on the global economy. He also works on analytical projects, including research on fragile and conflict-affected situations. Prior to joining the World Bank, he was Senior Economist at the Bank of Canada where he contributed to economic surveillance. Throughout his career, his work has focused on macroeconomic forecasting, model development, policy analysis, and emerging structural issues impacting the global economy.
