Bingjing Li is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Business and Economics, the University of Hong Kong. She obtained her PhD from the University of British Columbia in 2016. Her current research explores the intricate interplay of globalization and political economy factors, as well as the linkages between international trade and inclusive, sustainable economic development. She has also studied labor mobility and policy diffusion. Her research has been published at leading peer-reviewed journals, including the American Economic Review, Econometrica, Journal of European Economic Association, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Urban Economics, and Journal of Comparative Economics. She has served as Associate Editor at renowned journals, including the Econometrica, Journal of International Economics, and Journal of Comparative Economics, and she is a fellow of Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research.
