Pol Simpson

Pol Simpson is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics. Their research focuses on climate adaptation and natural disaster response in low income countries.
Before joining the programme, they were a research economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies and an economist in the UK Civil Service.
Pol holds an MSc in Economics from University College London, and a BSc in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford.
