Mamo Mihretu
Former Governor of the National Bank of Ethiopia
Mamo Mihretu was the 10th Governor of the National Bank of Ethiopia, where he led one of the most significant economic reform programs in the country’s history. Previously, he was Founding CEO of Ethiopian Investment Holdings, Africa’s largest sovereign wealth fund with $37B in assets, and also served as Chief Trade Negotiator and Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister, where he helped architect Ethiopia’s Home-Grown Economic Reform Program, advanced the AfCFTA, and reengaged WTO accession talks.
