Alberto Zezza

Alberto Zezza is with the Development Data Group of the World Bank, where he is the Program Manager of the Center for Development Data (C4D2), based in Rome. His research interests are in the area of survey methods, agricultural and rural development and food security. He is part of the Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS) team, where he focuses specifically on improving the availability and quality of agricultural, food and rural data in multi-topic household surveys. Prior to joining the World Bank, he was with the Agricultural Development Economics Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO). He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Development Economics from the University of Rome, a M.A. in Development Economics from the University of Sussex, and a degree in Economics from the University of Naples “Federico II”.
