Andrew Brudevold-Newman
Economist, World Bank Gender Innovation Lab
Andrew Brudevold-Newman is an Economist at the World Bank’s Gender Innovation Lab within the Office of the Chief Economist for Africa. His current research focuses on identifying and addressing gender-based constraints to economic activity in sub-Saharan Africa. He has projects spanning the school-to-work transition, agricultural land rights, gender norms, and social protection programs. He holds an PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland. His website is here.
