Camelia Minoiu

Principal Economist, Federal Reserve Board

Camelia Minoiu is a Principal Economist in the Monetary Affairs Division at the Federal Reserve Board. Previously she worked in the Research Department at the International Monetary Fund and was a visiting scholar at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Her research interests are in the areas of financial intermediation, bank regulation, and financial globalization. She also conducts research on the impact of monetary and macroprudential policies on credit supply and the real economy. Her work has been published in leading journals including the Review of Economics and Statistics, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Financial Economics.
