Eve Colson-Sihra is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research lies at the intersection of behavioral economics, political economy, and development, with a particular interest in how identity, culture, and social norms shape behavior. She studies these themes through the lens of consumption, using tools from applied microeconomics, structural estimation, and experimental methods. Her work engages with broader questions around globalization, inequality, nutrition, and sustainability. Her research has been published in the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of the European Economic Association, and the Journal of Urban Economics, and featured in podcasts such as InequaliTalks and VoxEU. She is an invited researcher at J-PAL and an associate researcher at the SCORE Strand III Initiative on Religion and Economic Development.
