Lars Ivar Oppedal Berge

Lars Ivar Oppedal Berge is an economist who has been in his current position as associate professor of Business Economics at NHH since 2015. He received his PhD in Economics from NHH in 2011. Berge’s research has focused on entrepreneurship, firm growth and microfinance, using various forms of experimental methods. His work has appeared in journals such as Management Science, Journal of the European Economic Association and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. Currently, he is involved in research projects on women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship, CSR, money laundering, and misreporting within firms. Berge’s present teaching areas are management accounting and behavioral economics.
