Liz Lyons is Associate Professor of Management at UC San Diego's School of Global Policy and Strategy. Her research focuses on organizational and innovation economics with labor and management as a common underlying theme. She has studied how incentive design, coordination barriers, technology adoption, and inequality affect entrepreneurship, organizational performance, and innovation. In addition to research and teaching, she advises early-stage start-up founders primarily through the Wavemaker Lab, and she works with organizations across sectors and industries to improve their management practices with a primary focus on team building and incentive design.
