Ludovica Gazze

Assistant Professor in Economics, University of Warwick

Ludovica Gazze is an environmental and health economist researching current policy issues.

Conserving resources and reducing pollution are among the most pressing challenges facing society. Designing programs to achieve these goals requires an understanding of 1) pollution damages and 2) individuals' and firms' compliance behavior. Ludovica investigates these issues using large administrative datasets and experimental and quasi-experimental methods.

She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick, and a JPAL K-CAI invited researcher. She received her PhD from MIT in 2016 and was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago Energy and Environment Lab until 2020.
