Martín E. De Simone is a Senior Economist in the World Bank’s Education Global Practice. His work focuses on education, skills development, and youth employment, with a particular interest in how artificial intelligence can strengthen the delivery of human development services in low- and middle-income countries. He has worked on the design and evaluation of education interventions in countries including Nigeria, Tanzania, Seychelles, Zambia, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, and Mozambique, combining operational experience with a strong focus on evidence and policy relevance. He holds an MPA from Princeton University.
