Matthew Schaelling is a PhD candidate in economics at Brown University. His research interests span urban economics and the economics of education. He holds a BS in applied and computational mathematics from Brigham Young University. Previously, he was a predoctoral research fellow at Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research.
