Mingzhu Tai
Associate Professor of Finance & MFin Deputy Programme Director, University of Hong Kong
Mingzhu Tai is an Associate Professor of Finance and MFin Deputy Programme Director at the University of Hong Kong. Her research interests mainly include consumer and household finance, financial intermediation, behavioral finance, and general corporate finance. She is currently working to understand the relationship between banks, real estate markets, financial regulations, and credit activities by consumers and businesses. Tai has published a number of research articles in top finance and management journals, such as the Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, etc.
Tai received her Ph.D. in business economics at Harvard University in 2011. Before that, she received her Master and Bachelor degrees in Finance from Tsinghua University.
