Nancy Lozano Gracia
Program Manager, World Bank's Institute for Economic Development
Nancy Lozano Gracia is a Program Manager at the World Bank’s Institute for Economic Development (IED). She also serves as Co-Lead of the Global Solutions Group on Spatial Economics and Analytics within the Urban, Resilience, and Land Global Practice, guiding analytical work that informs urban and regional development strategies. With over 20 years of experience in economic policy and applied research, her work has focused on designing innovative tools and leveraging data to better understand development challenges and support evidence-based decision-making. Her research interests span across spatial, regional, urban, environmental and development economics.
Nancy holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Illinois, as well as two master’s degrees: one in Environmental and Agricultural Economics from the University of Maryland, and another in Resource Economics from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia).
