Pamela Jakiela

Pamela Jakiela is an associate professor of economics at Williams College and a non-resident fellow at the Center for Global Development. She received her PhD from UC Berkeley in 2008, and she also holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MSc from the London School of Economics. Her research focuses on gender, early childhood, social protection, culture, preference elicitation, survey design, and impact evaluation. Her work has been published in leading academic journals including Science and the Review of Economic Studies, and has been featured in media outlets including the New York Times and NPR.
