Owen Ozier is an Associate Professor of Economics at Williams College. He is also an Affiliate of BREAD, IZA, and J-PAL. His research focuses on health, education, and economic decisions in Sub-Saharan Africa. He was previously a Senior Economist in the World Bank’s Development Research Group. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of California at Berkeley, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science and in brain and cognitive sciences from MIT.
