Kangni Kpodar
Deputy Division Chief, IMF’s African Department
Kangni Kpodar is Deputy Division Chief in the IMF’s African Department and Mission Chief of the Republic of Congo. Prior to that, he was Deputy Unit Chief of the Climate and Development Division in the IMF’s Strategy, Policy and Review department. His research interests and publications encompass a wide range of issues pertaining to financial development/inclusion, economic growth, poverty reduction, fuel subsidies, and trade integration. He holds a PhD in Economics from the CERDI and currently serve as a senior fellow at the Foundation for Studies and Research on International Development.
