Chris Cotton is Professor of Economics and holder of the Jarislowsky-Deutsch Chair in Economic and Financial Policy at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, where he also serves as Director of the John Deutsch Institute for the Study of Economic Policy and holds cross-appointments with the School of Medicine and the School of Public Policy. His research focuses on the science of evidence and the role of data and evidence in funding and policy decisions. He is also a co-owner and research advisor at Limestone Analytics, advising NGOs and governments on policy and evaluation.
