Maximiliane Sievert co-heads the research department “Climate and Development Policy” at RWI. She is an applied environmental economist and has extensively worked on topics like infrastructure development, technology adoption, and local and global environmental challenges in low- and middle-income countries. She has over 15 years of experience in evaluating development interventions, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa.
