Rubina Verma is a Professor at the School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. Her research fields are International Economics, Economic growth, and Technological Change. She studies emerging markets in Asia and examine issues such as firm growth, trade and its interaction with labor markets, informality, and their impact on economic growth. She teaches courses in international economics, trade and finance. Prior to Georgetown University, she taught at University of Southern California, Los Angeles and Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City.
