Ayesha Ali is an Associate Professor in Economics at the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Pakistan. Her research interests are in applied development economics in the fields of energy, environment, digital technologies, and Artifical Intelligence in the developing world, with a focus on Pakistan. Her research has been published in top academic journals including AEJ: Applied Economics, Journal of Development Economics, and Nature Human Behavior. She received her PhD in Economics from University of Toronto.
