Jeffrey Shrader

Jeffrey Shrader is an Associate Professor at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a Research Affiliate at IZA. His research focuses on understanding climate change damages and the role that weather and climate forecasts play in helping people adapt to climate change. From 2023 to 2024, he was a Senior Advisor at the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) in the US Executive Office of the President. Prior to joining Columbia, he was an Economic Fellow at the Institute for Policy Integrity at NYU. He received his PhD in economics from UC San Diego.
