Patrick Premand

Senior Economist, Development Impact Evaluation Group, World Bank

Patrick Premand is a Senior Economist at the World Bank Development Impact Evaluation Department (DIME), where he leads the social protection & jobs research program. He studies the effectiveness of social, employment and human development policies by embedding experiments in large-scale interventions in close collaboration with practitioners. Besides research, he has led operations, policy dialogue, and technical assistance activities the World Bank. He holds a DPhil in Economics from Oxford University.
