Patrick Turner

Assistant Research Professor, Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO), Department of Economics, University of Notre Dame

Patrick Turner is an Assistant Research Professor in the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO) within the Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame. His current research focuses on the intersection of policy and the labor market. At LEO, he partners with social service agencies and state and local governments to help determine what works in reducing domestic poverty. He is particularly interested in programs designed to help people get back to work and be successful once they are employed. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, he received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018 and a B.S. in Business Administration from Saint Louis University in 2009.
