Peyton Young is currently Senior Research Fellow at Nuffield College Oxford and a Research Professor at Johns Hopkins University. Previously he was James Meade Professor of Economics at Oxford, and Centennial Professor at the London School of Economics. He has published widely in economics, game theory, political science, finance, and mathematics.  He is an authority on evolutionary game theory and its application to social norms, institutions, and the diffusion of innovations. He is a Fellow of the British Academy, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Econometric Society, the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory, and a former President of the Game Theory Society.
