Raluca Dragusanu

Raluca Dragusanu is an economist and data scientist and founder of Thoughtful Data, where she advises mission-driven organizations how to harness the power of data science to improve the world. She previously worked at DataKind and at Enigma.io, where she helped clients in the healthcare, finance, local government and non-profit sectors to use public and private data to inform decision-making. 

She received a PhD in Business Economics from Harvard University. Her academic work focuses on shedding light on how buyers and suppliers match in global supply chains, the impact of Fair Trade certification, and how manufacturing work empowers young women in developing countries.
