Sebastian Tonke

Sebastian Tonke is a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn. His research interests lie at the intersection of behavioral, environmental, and development economics. He mostly uses large-scale randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that investigate the potential, limitations, and complementarities of different policy interventions to address environmental threats such as water scarcity or waste accumulation. Sebastian Tonke holds a PhD in economics from the University of Cologne.
