Yanru Lee is a Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. His research focuses on international finance, alternative investments, and economic development. In recent work, he studies the financial viability and social returns of infrastructure investment in emerging markets and developing economies, with a focus on mobilizing greater private capital. He received his PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
