Abdoulaye is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Research Program in Development Economics at Princeton University and a research economist in the Development Research Group of the World Bank. He obtained his PhD from the department of Agriculture and Resource Economics at University of California Berkeley in 2025. His research focuses on energy access, grid reliability, consumer behavior in energy markets, and large-scale infrastructure in energy and agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa.
