Alejandro Nakab received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, in 2021. He is a macroeconomist with interests in international economics, growth and development. His research employs quantitative methods and microdata to deepen the understanding of the development process of nations. His main area of research focuses on how workers learn and accumulate human capital within firms and how this impacts the macroeconomy.
