Ali Hasanain

Ali Hasanain is an associate professor of economics at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). He is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s South Asia Center, and an executive council member of the Economic Advisory Group, Pakistan. Hasanain was a 2014-16 Oxford-Princeton Global Leaders Fellow, and completed his PhD at George Mason University in 2010. He studies how reform initiatives can improve public service delivery and market outcomes, particularly through leveraging new technologies. He is also a frequent contributor to Pakistan’s economic reforms debate in national and international media.
