Arndt Reichert is a Professor of health economics and development research at the Leibniz University Hannover. His research focuses on developing practical solutions for positive societal change. Recurring themes include vulnerable populations, the impact of economic shocks, and decision-making processes shaped by information asymmetries and social norms. He tends to leverage innovative data sources, field experiments, and quasi-experimental methods to address pressing economic questions. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Ruhr University of Bochum and the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, and worked at the Development Impact Department of the World Bank.
