Bilge Erten

Bilge Erten is an Associate Professor of Economics and International Affairs at Northeastern University.

Bilge received her PhD in economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2010. She was a postdoctoral research scholar of the Committee on Global Thought at Columbia University from 2012 to 2014. She is an associate editor of Feminist Economics, and a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). Her primary research interests are in gender and development economics, with a particular focus on empirical research.
